Ian Carvell

Ian Carvell is a Close Protection Consultant, former Special Branch Officer - specialist in firearms and anti-terrorism - who was commended three times, who was part of the Royal Family and Diplomatic Protection squads, which included protecting the Queen Mother, Prince Charles, Princess Diana and leading politicians and foreign visiting diplomats. He has 30 years of experience in the police force – 10 years uniform CID and 20 years in Special Branch. He has 15 years of experience in Close Protection training, consultancy and operations. He also worked on high level projects in the UK and Middle East, Africa and Poland. Now he spends a considerable time as a Professional Security Consultant (which includes embassies) and Corporate Bodyguard Consultant and trainer accredited by City & Guilds, Ed excel, HABC and IQ awarding examination bodies.
